Pick It Up for YYT

7,000 clean-ups to date. And counting.

This year, due to the impacts of COVID-19, Clean St. John’s has been faced with the unprecedented cancellation of its annual spring litter cleanup campaign. While organized cleanups have been cancelled until further notice, Clean St. John’s recognizes the continued need to tackle the litter problem in the City. Through a social media campaign, PICK IT UP FOR YYT, launched in May 2020, Clean St. John’s is challenging residents to pick up one piece of litter when you’re out for a walk or doing property maintenance. If each person in St. John’s picked up just one piece of litter each day, we’d clean up the City’s litter in just two months!

Post a photo on social media channels of you doing your part and enter to win exciting prizes. The top prize is a GT Mountain Bike! For Pick It Up for YYT contest details, please visit us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
