Read for the Environment [June 2014]

Clean St. John’s is pleased to be celebrating Environment Week with our annual Read for the Environment event. Clean St. John’s board and committee members, St. John’s City Councillors, and local celebrities visited grade one classrooms today throughout the City to engage students by reading about protecting our environment and the importance of youth involvement in environmental stewardship.

Clean St. John’s is a voluntary non-profit organization committed to creating and promoting a litter-free city. We are dedicated to the promotion of community partnerships and individual responsibility that leads to improving the quality of life and contributing to a healthier environment for the residents of St. John’s.
